Litho and digital printing
For longer print-runs of up to 20,000 our lithographic department offers:
- Four modern, fast Heidelberg Speedmaster B1 presses in a temperature and humidity controlled environment
- Trendsetter computer to plate (CTP) technology
- The advanced metal plate technology of this CTP technology ensures consistency and quality in halftones and tints
- Our presses can print monochrome or two colour text and halftones in 16-, 24- and 32-page sections on paper weights from 35gsm to 135gsm

We pioneered the use of digital Xerox DocuTech imaging devices, by being the first printers in the UK to use them purely for book production. These specialised machines are ideal for short-run and print-on-demand jobs.
Uniquely, we can print digitally on to lightweight papers (down to 50gsm) and up to 160gsm and finish with sewn binding.
